The Editor-in-Chief, or, in their absence, the Deputy Editor-in-Chief:
- appoints qualified reviewers for all manuscripts that successfully pass the initial editorial screening;

The Journal takes prompt action whenever publication misconduct is identified, including but not limited to:
- data fabrication or falsification;
- pseudoscientific content;
- fabrication of research results;
- citation manipulation;
- plagiarism;
- duplicate or simultaneous submission.
If ethical misconduct is identified during peer review, the manuscript will be rejected.

The Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board members, and reviewers are permitted to publish in the Journal; however, their submissions undergo the same independent double-blind peer review process as all other manuscripts.
If technical or editorial errors are identified after publication, the Editorial Office publishes corrections (errata or corrigenda) in the subsequent issue of the Journal.
